About the artwork
The waves crash underneath the moon, the sun has set but it isn’t exactly night time yet. There’s something about the moon being so visible while it’s still light out that feels out of the ordinary but also intimate.
Nick Rufo is a Los Angeles based visual artist who often invites the viewer along seldom-trodden footpaths which seem both familiar and ethereal all at once. He captures the world with a sense of timelessness that is often contrasted by intense isolationism.
